We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us sell 50-50 Charity Raffle tickets at upcoming Cowboys home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. This important volunteer role will help the Cowboys Community Foundation raise vital funds needed to deliver education-based programs across North Queensland, including NRL Cowboys House. - While cleaning, changing feed/water, be hands-on, interacting and playing with our parrots at our bird sanctuary we have nearly 400 parrots. Work in a passionate joyful environment where the care and well-being of our parrots is our number one concern - Earn Certificates and use them when searching for a job - Receive a reference after working here for a designated period of time - Work hands-on with parrots, interacting, talking and handling our parrots during your work time

AVIARY ATTENDANTS - Cleaning and feeding the birds, interacting with the birds checking their health and wellbeing, collecting and cleaning food dishes. We are looking for at least 3 Aviary attendants. On the job training given. . For those who are doing animal studies this is a great hands on experience with achievement certificates available. Mature persons and retirees welcome. Our sanctuary is a Centrelink and Work for the Dole approved workplace.

This volunteer opportunity will help to maintain the steady flow of stock to our Retail Shop which is essential to providing customers the products they are looking for.

We need an honest, reliable and outgoing volunteer who can sort clothing and fabrics for further processing.

The volunteers assist riders with leading horses or walking along side riders/horses during their classes. All classes are designed and controlled by our qualified coach. Neighbours Aid Ltd is looking for some great volunteers to be the face of Neighbours Aid in the front of store. No experience necessary - we can start you with pricing and display and train you in using the cash register and customer service skills as well as handling of stock in the work room. This volunteer role will help you raise money to support some of the world's needy children and bring personal satisfaction knowing you are helping many children who are left as orphans.
