Truck Offsider (Urgent)
About this opportunity
This volunteer opportunity will help to maintain the steady flow of stock to our Retail Shop which is essential to providing customers the products they are looking for.
Previous experience in a logistics environment would be an advantage but is not essential. A general understanding of transporting possibly fragile items would be helpful.
The retail shop staff and volunteers are passionate and creative teams. By assisting the truck driver with donation pick-ups and delivering prepared stock to the Retail Shops, you will be helping to ensure that our retail staff and volunteers have ample stock for presentation to meet customers demands.
Tasks include -
- Collection of goods from donation bins and donors
- Delivery of stock from the distribution centers to retail outlets
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
A willingness to Work safely and operate as part of a team.
A minimum of 3 hr shift to a max of 15 hrs a week.
