We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families. You may also be interested in providing telephone support to parents calling the service in distress on our telephone roster, As our service provides Peer Support, IT'S ESSENTIAL you have lived experience in this area.

Breastfeeding counsellors are trained volunteers who offer breastfeeding information and mother-to-mother support to women whose babies are breastfeeding and to their families. Their area of expertise is breastfeeding support. The counsellors have to have breastfed at least one baby for a minimum of 6 months and hold a current Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling) (or equivalent) and have to complete ongoing training to up d ate their knowledge and skills.

We are looking for long term volunteers that are compassionate, friendly individuals who can assist seniors with basic phone and IT issues. We have found that at times this role can evolve into much needed social connection for our participants as well as IT support.
