About Native Animal Rescue

Native Animal Rescue is the business name for the Fauna Rehabilitation Foundation. Native Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit, non government incorporated body dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick, injured, orphaned and displaced native animals.

We rely totally on public donations , funds raised through our own fundraising activities and incidental funding grants from various government and non-government sources.

Founded in 1982 Native Animal Rescue is headquartered on a 15 hectare natural bush site in Malaga. Native Animal Rescue cares for more than 3,000 native birds and animals in need each year. This includes native birds of various species, echidnas, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots and reptiles.
