Do you have a passion for wildlife and a desire to make a difference in your community? Consider joining our team as an Op Shop volunteer! Our program is designed for individuals who want to support wildlife conservation efforts in Western Australia but not necessarily want to work with wildlife directly. We have stores in Hilton and Yangebup.

Do you enjoy museums, have a passion for WA history and Perth’s much-loved heritage-listed buildings? Perhaps you’re technological minded and would like to share your knowledge on our historic and modern fire appliances and firefighting equipment? Or you would like to help the community prepare for WAs range of natural hazards? If one or more above sounds like you, plus you enjoy interacting with people of all ages & backgrounds, then join the Front-of-House team at Perth’s first fire station!

The Old Central Fire Station in Perth's historic Murray Street East precinct is home to the DFES Heritage Collection. The Collection helps to tell the cultural and technological history of the fire and rescue services in our State. Our Behind-the-Scenes Team assist in the auditing of the Collection and maintenance of entries in the database.

If you have a green thumb and a passion for animals, come join our close-knit team. We would love to have you on board. We have a great role for an assistant to help with gardening duties and to care for our chickens and guinea pigs.

WA WIldlife has been caring for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife for over 20 years and has recently opened it's first Op Shop (second hand retail store) and are seeking expressions of interest for volunteers. Do you want to support wildlife conservation but not necessarily work directly with wildlife? Our Op Shop needs volunteers to run the Store 6 days a week.

Are you handy around the home and yard? We need your skills to cover a range of repairs and maintenance to our centre, both inside and out, including animal enclosures and fencing.

WA Wildlife's Reception program is for anyone with a passion for wildlife and the environment and enjoys interacting with people.
