Op Shop Assistant

About this opportunity

The Op Shop sells a range of merchandise including clothes, books, DVDS, homewares, bric a brac, and other second hand items (no electronics).

Volunteers are required to wear the store uniform and name badge.

Whilst there is no direct contact with wildlife, you will be an invaluable asset to the organisation as all funds raised through the Op Shop will be directed to the care of wildlife. Additional requirements

Volunteers should have excellent customer service and sales skills and have a passion for wildlife conservation.
• Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and be able to work independently (alone in the store) or with 1-2 other volunteers of mixed backgrounds.
Volunteers are responsible for supplying their own clothes (black bottoms, white tops)

Time Required

1 shift per week (Mon-Sat) in the store located in Hilton. Shifts run from 8:30am-1pm and 1pm-5pm Mon - Fri and 8:30am - 1pm Saturdays.
