Have you ever seen those American movies where they go on summer camps? Well… that is exactly what we do at Cahoots! Make a difference to a young person living with a disability this upcoming Summer Holidays! We are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Summer School Holiday Program Leaders, taking on the incredible responsibility of providing care and support to these remarkable individuals.

Our volunteers have the opportunity to positively impact the elderly or people with disabilities by giving free trishaw rides on e-bikes. Full training is provided. Our pilots are everyone from directors to senior citizens and students (18yrs +)

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.

Telelink Facilitator volunteers help support one of the longest running programs to assist people that are blind or low vision to live the life that they choose. The program provides special interest group discussion's for blind and low vision people all around Australia to interact with one another via phone. The volunteer Facilitator is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule, promotes positive communication between the participants and adds to the discussion.

The connection volunteer is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule.

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) is organising for our young adults with Down syndrome to attend our Challenge Weekend Camps throughout the year and require volunteers to assist us with this event. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year: we will require the volunteers to be available from 3pm Friday to approximately 12pm Sunday. Dates range however camps are usually held in March and November.
