Our Pathfinders are RMHC WA advocates across King Edward Memorial Hospital. They support patients and visitors to the hospital and provide assistance to hospital staff, clinics and wards.

Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group, SERAG, is a local group of volunteers who enjoy hands-on caring and restoring health to the A-Class foreshore and bush reserves adjacent to the Swan River Estuary Marine Park on Melville’s river front in Attadale, Alfred Cove and Tompkins Park. Volunteers will weed and/or plant for two hours of a morning, then share a cuppa and cake together (provided) whilst enjoying the beautiful location that they are helping to restore and maintain.

Fishability is a West Australian not for profit organisation who works with the community to promote fishing activities as a means of acceptance and inclusion with provision of inclusive and disability programs. Currently activities in our Perth Jetty South program are running at Val Street Jetty Rockingham, Ammo Jetty Coogee, Fremantle Sailing Club and Point Walter Jetty.

Bethanie Joondanna Aged Care Home is seeking a volunteer for one-to-one visits and/or small group engagement with some of our male residents. You'll assist residents to participate in hands-on activities aligned to their interests and abilities whilst taking the time to have a good chat.

Our Social Centres provide a supportive place for clients to connect with others and engage in activities for their health and wellbeing. It also gives carers an opportunity to take time to focus on their needs while knowing that their loved ones are well looked after.

The MSWA Step Up is a unique stair-climbing event that sees our participants climb Perth’s tallest building while raising awareness and vital funds to help support Western Australians living with neurological conditions. Come and join us at Central Park in the Perth CBD, as we cheer on and support our 2024 climbers.

Friends of Gabbiljee are hosting a planting day on Thursday 6 June and are seeking extra helpers to assist.

Our monthly busy bee event to support the Friends of Applecross Foreshore. We will be restoring the foreshore area along Jeff Joseph Reserve.

Help restore the lake's ecosystem by spending a few hours at Blue Gum Lakes Banksia Woodland area.

Saturdays 1pm to 4pm in Fremantle. Our group assistants help young people on the Autism Spectrum with various social activities. Activities include arts, crafts, bowling, laser tag and more. This rewarding opportunity would suit those studying community services, social work, psychology etc

Mondays or Fridays 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Spectrum Space runs a social group for kids on the spectrum aged 10 to 18 years. The group runs every Monday or Friday from 4:30pm. This would be a great opportunity for psychology/social work/community service students to gain experience working with children with autism.

Our Cafes give people living with dementia and their support person, the opportunity to connect with others in a welcoming, supportive environment. The Cafe is held in a Dementia Friendly Location in Bibra Lake 10am -12 pm. Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a WA Police Force program to help neighbours watch out for neighbours.

Citizen Advocacy bring together people from all walks of life to be a voice, companion and champion for someone with intellectual disability. Volunteers are matched with a person who has similar interests and time availability, allowing them to form a unique and meaningful relationship centered around friendship

This groups works in Blackwall Reach Reserve and along the river foreshore at Blackwall Reach Parade, doing restoration and erosion control works. They hold regular workdays and planting days throughout the year between April - September.
