POOPS WA is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers are police-cleared and have a Working with Children Check and provide a range of services including home visits, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. We cater specifically for people over 65 years of age – or palliative-care patients of any age – who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.

The Wildcare Helpline is owned by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and managed by WA Wildlife. Join our team as a call centre volunteer and help us to provide advice and support to members of the public who have found sick or injured wildlife.
