Inclusion Melbourne is a participant in the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS); a national program that aims to enrich the quality of life of older people and enhance their social connectedness. As a volunteer, you will be making a real difference by: • Spending time with participants engaged in shared interest activities • Providing companionship and support • Reducing the social isolation and loneliness experienced by some older people.

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

We run weekly fruit and vegetable markets that provide produce up to 35% cheaper than other fresh food outlets, or free via our Grocer Gift Card program. Come and assist our Market Manager with the tasks of setting up, running and packing down a market, helping to create a vibrant and engaging environment where everyone feels welcome!

The Community Grocer runs weekly pop-up fruit and veg markets in communities experiencing food insecurity, making culturally relevant and high-quality food affordable and accessible for all. Alongside the market, we have a thriving box delivery scheme. We are looking for a volunteer cyclist to bring their bike and attach a trailer to deliver fruit and veg boxes to local residents and community organisations.
