Mentoring Men has available volunteer positions for men to be professionally trained to support other men in our community. You will have the opportunity to help and guide a man in need and be a part of our organisation's mission to support men in their life journey. The Mentors are usually older than 24 years old and have had their own unique journey through life and want to give back. The Program requires a commitment of 2 years with an expectation of a couple of hours 1:1 contact per fortnight.

ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.

Kids Friend mentors spend 2-3 hours a week with a vulnerable child aged from 6-16, for friendship and fun. You become a special person outside the family who supports the child's social and emotional needs with an aim to increase the child's confidence, personal skills and resilience. You can take the child to visit places within the community or your own home to bake, play video games, or just hang out. The Roundabout Project is a volunteer peer support project that aims to assist participants with Disability to engage with our LGBTIQA+ community encouraging networking and connections.
