The role of the Volunteer is to aid the consumer during their journey through the Emergency Department at Canberra Hospital; to ease emotional distress and anxiety experienced by patients, their families, and friends through the provision of practical support under the guidance of Emergency Department staff.

As the Learning and development Officer you will be responsible for developing and implementing a program of work aligned to the G2K’s Training Strategy and Plan to build best practice in training and competency. Researchers at NeuRA and UNSW are recruiting for a study to determine if Virtual Reality Walking is effective as a treatment for complete Spinal Cord Injury neuropathic pain. The treatment is home-based so people living anywhere in Australia can participate. Participants can receive a total of $200 for completing all trial activities. All VR equipment is provided!
