Children by Choice is looking for expressions of interest from people wanting to join their voluntary Management Committee (MC). As part of the Committee, MC members have governance responsibilities to the Association. The role is one of 8 members who meet once a month and participate in subcommittees and strategic planning.

Legacy Brisbane is reaching out for wonderful volunteers to help at our annual Canungra Combat Challenge (C3). The Challenge will be held at the Kokoda Barracks in Canungra on Saturday, 15 June 2024. The funds raised go towards supporting the families, widows/widowers and children of those who have served our country and have been injured or killed as a result of their service.

The Emergency Relief Food Pantry rescues food and prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the collection of food, and the packing and distribution of these food parcels on weekdays from 9am - 1pm. Help is also needed after those hours on some days to receive & unpack/store rescued food (e.g, 10am - 2pm, or 12pm - 4pm.) Some moderate to heavy lifting will be required, and drivers will need a clean driver's licence.

BinderKeepers Inc is community orientated and provides members books covering from baby to senior ages for borrowing. Our organisation provides low-cost items that assist to empower and educate individuals of all ages in mental health, in self-reliance and resilience. The Secretary role is very important to our Organisation and is pivotal in assisting the President with administrative tasks. Key tasks include record meeting notes, manage emails and general administrative support.

Basic bookkeeping experience is required to support the Committee. Treasurer hours can be entirely after hours if required (meetings are usually always held outside work hours) and on a Tuesday or Thursday if held off-line. This role is greatly appreciated in relieving other committee members of additional duties. The role is especially suited to lovers of books / jigsaw puzzles and/or games. The role is crucial for our organisation to continue.
