Help facilitate play, activities and distraction for patients, siblings and visitors at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Join our volunteer team to provide moments of happiness and social connection in the hospital environment.

Here is your chance to make a difference! You will be able to achieve this by organising and preparing a weekly/fortnightly/monthly meal for people who may be experiencing, (or who are at risk of) homelessness as well as other vulnerable groups in the community. This volunteer role involves working with a small team of like-minded volunteers who will create a warm & welcoming space for meals to be served, and engage with clients who attend in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.

Legacy Brisbane supports widows and families of our servicemen and women. We are looking for two passionate, motivated volunteers to phone our older widows to check on well-being and needs in the Contact Centre at South Brisbane. There will also be administrative tasks attached to this role. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be computer literate. You will not be selling, promoting or asking for money, it is purely a curtesy wellbeing call.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls.
