He/she is responsible for promoting the Society as an organisation of choice in regard to family history research and membership. Gardening & Maintenance Volunteers are key to assisting the RSPCA South Australia team in maintaining their outdoor grounds, plants and trees. Their team performs a range of general maintenance tasks, performs routine inspections of premises and equipment. Working with tools and basic light machinery performing preventative maintenance, handling basic repairs, prepare walls and other surfaces for painting etc.

As an orginisation the Historic Ketch Falie requires a committee to maintain the orginisation and require a succession plan of recruitment to go forward into the future.

The volunteer role involves maintaining the National Railway Museum's diesel and petrol amusement devices. Must be a qualified motor mechanic.

Must have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and active registration as an electrician through Consumer and Business Services. Tasks include general electrical repair work and some new electrical installations.

Experience with painting and spray painting required, including correct WH&S requirements. Tasks include spray painting for locomotive and carriage restoration work, as well as other general maintenance painting around the site. Role is on an as-needs basis, not continuous weekly.
