The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, so this role requires a well presented individual, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Tasks include ticket and retail sales, visitor greeting, orientation and assistance, telephone inquiries and direction. The Museum is open Monday to Saturday, and two receptionists are usually rostered to work together. Operating the gift shop attached to the reception area will also be part of the role.

The tugs work with our other historic vessels and are occasionally outsourced. Reliability is important. You would be assisting the executive engineer for our tugs and your key task is the maintenance of the two six-cylinder Detroit diesel 67L engines and associated equipment on each tug.
