Our Solaris Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital centre is seeking qualified kinesiologists to provide sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis to support people affected by cancer and their carers.

Our Solaris Cottesloe centre is seeking qualified Reflexologists to provide reflexology sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis to support people going through cancer treatment and their carers.

Our Solaris Cottesloe centre is seeking qualified kinesiologists to provide massage sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis to support people affected by cancer and their carers.

Cancer Council WA's Milroy Lodge is urgently seeking relief drivers to transport patients to and from medical treatment centres in Perth Metro, using our Cancer Council WA vehicle.

MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

Want to help people living with vision loss? Macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in Australians and we are after someone to help run support groups for people living with macular degeneration! Group meetings are held at the Willagee Community Centre.

The Macular Disease Foundation of Australia (MDFA) is the national peak body representing the macular disease community.  Our four pillars of work include:  prevention and early detection, supporting the community to live optimally with macular conditions, systemic advocacy and research.  There are an estimated 1.4m Australians with some evidence of age-related macular degeneration, which is the most common macular disease.

Give back to your local community by providing a valuable food service, where profits generated are used to purchase equipment and resources for the Hospital, and develop friendships that can extend outside of the Hospital environment.
