Diabetes Victoria is holding a diabetes education event for the Vietnamese community on May 28, and looking for Vietnamese speaking volunteers to provide in-language support to attendees. The helpline was established in 2009, and is the only such service in Australia helping people living with pain. Guides have a personal connection to chronic pain and are able to support callers with chronic pain.

The co-facilitator for the "Everybody is Welcome" Pain Support Group can be located anywhere in Australia. The group is a safe space for to help participants to share their experiences of living with chronic pain, promoting self-management techniques, reducing isolation and assisting with health system navigation.
