Assisting MSWA staff members with setting up the awards table, cheering on swimmers, taking banners down, packing down tables, stacking chairs, and loading event items into the event vehicle

2 volunteers required for on-day roles: assisting with setting up poolside, Registration check-in desk, Selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and cheering on the swimmers. •Neat casual attire, enclosed non-slip footwear – you will be working in and around the Aquatic Centre pool. •Food and drink refreshments will be provided. •A briefing will take place on the day. •Knowledge of EFTPOS machine •Suitable for skilled volunteers, work experience, young adults. Start times of 7 am – 11 pm

As a start-up not-for profit peak body, PRECI is currently run entirely by volunteers. We require a volunteer with skills in fundraising, who can support the Directors with innovative and creative ideas to raise funds to support the vision of PRECI! Your skills will assist us in ensuring that children with disability and their families receive high quality support from their services and supports.

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) is organising for our young adults with Down syndrome to attend our Challenge Weekend Camps throughout the year and require volunteers to assist us with this event. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year: we will require the volunteers to be available from 3pm Friday to approximately 12pm Sunday. Dates range however camps are usually held in March and November.

We are looking at Volunteers who can grow and sustain our funding to support the delivery of various activities for senior citizens in Cairns by developing and implementing a fundraising strategy.

The Scuba Gym Australia provides Scuba Therapy to people with special needs. We need a fabulous and knowledgeable grant writer and fund-raiser so we can raise the amount of fun we have by getting the grants to afford more people access to our unique therapy and we can put on events to raise awareness. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. You will be contacted soon to arrange a mutually convenient time and place. ***

emotion21 is a program of the Inclusion Foundation, that provides Australian-first innovative dance and fitness programs for children and young adults with Down syndrome. The benefits of the program are wide-ranging and include health, exercise, social and self-esteem for participants. The Mover supports the dance class teacher to ensure each participant is engaged, learning and receiving valuable and personalised feedback, and can access the full benefits of the program.

Interested in music? Don’t mind a crowd? We have a fun, fast-paced role for you. Our monthly Saturday night disco is an event that provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to socialise and course- dance! Professional DJ music and light show included! We need an energetic, helpful volunteer who can assist with setting up, running of the disco activities on the night as well as a quick pack up and clean when finished.
