Events Assistant – Saturday Night Disco (Monthly)

Interested in music? Don’t mind a crowd? We have a fun, fast-paced role for you. Our monthly Saturday night disco is an event that provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to socialise and course- dance! Professional DJ music and light show included! We need an energetic, helpful volunteer who can assist with setting up, running of the disco activities on the night as well as a quick pack up and clean when finished. The main duties required are: • Watch participants well being and safety and report any concerns to staff • Listen and develop friendly rapport with participants and be inclusive to all • Encourage participants to build confidence and maximize their independence. • Assisting a staff member to set up and pack up including a bit of end of night cleaning

Approx three and a half hours, 7 pm to 10.30 pm on the first Saturday of the month
