General Day Volunteer

Disability Services One off - an event Albany WA

About this opportunity

The Annual MSWA Albany Swim is back for its 12th year!

This 8-hour amateur swimming event hosted at the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre, is a community favourite.

Our event sees teams of up to 10 challenge themselves, all the while raising vital funds and awareness for people living in the Great Southern Region with neurological conditions. In this spirited event, teams embrace the challenge of always having a swimmer in the water throughout the 8 hours.

There are no strict guidelines on swimming styles - whether it's freestyle, backstroke, or even a playful doggy paddle - all are welcome. Swimmers can also use any swimming aids they require during the event.

2 volunteers required for on-day roles: assisting with setting up poolside, Registration check-in desk, Selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and cheering on the swimmers.
