Volunteering with Valley RDA is a very rewarding experience assisting riders with varied abilities to reach their goals as a rider whilst improving their physical mental and emotional well being. Good Sammy's purpose is to create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with a disability. We employ hundreds of people with disabilities and you are also supporting them by volunteering in our retail stores

Our Technical Volunteer designs, makes or modifies aids and equipment for people with a disability or the frail aged when there is no commercial solution available. Volunteers undertake project work in their own homes and sheds using their own tools.

As a volunteer walking buddy, you will be helping a blind and hearing impaired male get out of the house, reintroduce more physical activity into his life and feel socially connected. Flexible with days and 1 hour time commitment per week.
