About this opportunity
Essential Criteria:
- Own transport or capacity to organise.
- Working with children check
- Completed volunteer form and undertaken volunteer induction
- Check-in/sign in to centre upon arrival and departure EACH time they attend the centre.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in providing work skill instructions.
- Previous experience in volunteer management
Skills and Attributes:
- Fun, bubbly engaging personality.
- Ability to communicate with RDA Coaches & Tall Timbers Staff members.
- Ability to assess and determine the capacity of volunteers and assign suitable roles.
Duties & Task Examples:
- Conduct volunteer inductions upon arrival at the centre
- Monitor rostering and availability of volunteers for programs
- Communicate with Coaches & staff in relation to volunteer programming
- Be a point of reference for volunteers
- Develop and undertake volunteer recruitment strategies
