Learning activities for independent living include – communication, healthy living, home maintenance, community connection, social engagement, employment, tenancy, healthy relationships, building friendships, and numeracy and literacy skills.

STEPS Café Volunteers will assist students with disability in a hospitality environment to learn essential skills for employment such as food handling, customer service, money handling and more.

Each rider has a volunteer leading their horse and most will have at least one side walker in support. (C)

Maintenance Workers are responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and premises as well as ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity.
