Volunteer to support people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program: FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. The program runs throughout the term and participants go to the gym together with their matched volunteer once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

Club21 has been going in Melbourne for over 10 years and we are very excited to bring Club21 to Warrnambool! Club21 goes out on weekends and does fun, social activities together: going out for lunch, singing Karaoke, watching a show. We are looking for volunteers to support the Club21 social group

2 volunteers required for on-day roles: assisting with setting up poolside, Registration check-in desk, Selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and cheering on the swimmers. •Neat casual attire, enclosed non-slip footwear – you will be working in and around the Aquatic Centre pool. •Food and drink refreshments will be provided. •A briefing will take place on the day. •Knowledge of EFTPOS machine •Suitable for skilled volunteers, work experience, young adults. The Bridge is always looking for volunteers that are willing to support people living with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds to enjoy a range of recreational and sporting activities. We have a wide range of activities that our participants can engage in and each activity is in need of volunteers to assist our staff and support workers.

ADventure Out is a fun Disability Social group for people with mild to moderate disabilities, operating in the St George and Sutherland Shire. We go out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to a variety of outings like barbecues, movies, clubs, ferry trips etc. If you are up for a chat and a cuppa with our lovely group and can commit to a day or two a week, we would love to have you onboard. This is a really rewarding experience as you brighten up someones day !

The Roundabout Project is a volunteer peer support project that aims to assist participants with Disability to engage with our LGBTIQA+ community encouraging networking and connections. By sharing personal experiences and developing mutual peer-to-peer friendship, participants may gain a greater sense of connection to community and develop a deeper sense of belonging, self-esteem, and interpersonal trust.
