Are you passionate about creating positive change to your community? Merri Mates is a 1-on-1 social outreach program that supports people with mild to moderate disabilities. Participants experience social isolation, so volunteers provide them with companionship and support to engage in a variety of activities tailored to their hobbies, interests, and abilities. You’ll gain valuable experience volunteering with the Merri Mates program and make a difference to the lives of others.

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. BDEC engages with government, community agencies, and the public in order to encourage the preservation of the natural environment in the local area. They undertake a number of practical and administrative initiatives.

Interested in bookkeeping and financials and have two hours a week to spare? We need a suitable person to undertake financial requirements for the Environment Centre. This position is 80% Bookkeeping and reporting to the BDEC committee at bi-monthly meetings and the AGM. Volunteer needs to attend meetings in person.
