Crime Stoppers is a Registered Charity and Community Volunteer Organisation that is not government funded and is not a part of the police department. Crime stoppers is an organisation that assists police by collecting crime related information through an anonymous system and provides the information for police. Crime Stoppers Volunteers raise funds for a rewards program, and for the purchase of promotional merchandise required for educational purposes. Meetings are held monthly.

If you're punctual, reliable and honest, all you need is to hold a current test and tagging certification or qualifications as an electrician. (However, if you feel that you meet the requirements of this role, we may look at putting you through the course at our cost.) Own car required.

Volunteer to become one of the very special VIP's for the Gold Coast Police Service. As a VIP you would be offering support to Officers by carrying out a range of crime prevention tasks that complement the responsibilities of Gold Coast Police members, allowing officers to remain focused on operational tasks. Currently only one intake a year is held, applications must be made prior to attend a mandatory 4 day training session. This role is for long term, committed, and conscientious persons.
