MiCare is looking for a volunteer that can share a smile, a joke and companionship during fortnightly friendly visits to this isolated and lonely elderly man who lives in an aged care facility. Volunteering brings fun and fulfilment to your life and makes a huge difference to those in the community seeking companionship.

An outgoing and friendly volunteer who will contribute to the day-to-day well-being and experiences of patients on our Day Surgery unit.

Do you enjoy connecting and helping people? With our ongoing redevelopments, it is sometimes intimidating for our visitors to find where they need to go within the hospital or to offsite outpatient clinic locations. Our Guiding Volunteers provide visitors with practical assistance helping alleviate those feelings of being overwhelmed and stressed helping them to get to their appointment on time or find a friend or relative.
