The Peer Support Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. A General Front of House Volunteer will be required to meet, greet and give directions or escort if required, visitors and patients to their destination in the hospital. You will at times be required to approach and assist people who may be unsure of where they are going. Other duties include assisting with transport enquiries and general tidying of reception area.

Meet and Greet Volunteers provide patients with directions on how to find services within the hospital and escort the patients to the area they need to go if necessary. Volunteers must have a friendly disposition, good communication skills, desire to help others and be fit and active enough to be able to push patients in a wheelchair.
