The Family & Child Hub is suite of child and family health and wellbeing services, all located under one roof. The services are both internal and external to SCHS and together have a ‘no wrong door’ approach to navigating the individual health and wellbeing pathways of families and children. We are seeking volunteers to assist our Toy Library Session Co-ordinator with the running of Toy Library sessions during open hours. Positions available on Saturda 9:30am-11:30am or 11:30am- 1:30pm.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.

Cleaner required for small sport group. Duties will include cleaning of the toilets, and mopping of the floor in the canteen and hall. The hall and sports club is used once a week. This right person will have the flexibility to undertake the cleaning around a time that works for them. We only require it ready for Sundays when the club is open.

The role is supporting parents, grandparents, and significant others in a child's life to navigate the Child Safety system. FIN Townsville offers free independent support to all families involved in Child Safety to ensure the safety of children is paramount, and families are appropriately supported.
