Cairns Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit whose mission is to offer hands-on, interactive, educational exhibits and play spaces for the children in Cairns and surrounds. Catering for our Tour groups, purchasing and preparing food at home bring to the Museum on the day. Help with setting up for the tour. After the tour tiding up making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy. Re-imbursement for money spent. Some previous experience would be beneficial.

The Knox Toy Library Inc provides the perfect alternative to buying a room full of toys that are no longer played with. But we need some volunteers to help us with our Friday and Saturday borrowing sessions.

An administration assistant is needed to support the General Manager and company secretary to maintain the important work and cultural significance of the Australian jazz museum. Must have experience in MS Office and be willing to train in the use of Salesforce. General maintenance of the museum when required and assisting with group tours.

We require a mature, experienced, business oriented and skilled grant writer and fundraiser to assist the museum with writing and submitting grant applications. Will also be required to source quotes, funding and grant opportunities and give advice and guidance to the committee.
