A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health. They participate in committees, focus groups, projects and a range of other activities to ensure the patient perspective is always considered. Consumer Advisors are part of the Western Health community and should reflect the diversity of our community

Could you help make someone's day a bit brighter? Cessnock Volunteers provide care and comfort to patients, their carers and families when they need it most. As well as supporting staff, you will be helping to help build a better patient experience.

APMA is seeking someone looking to expand their skills as a professional workplace trainer. You will be responsible for the delivery of an existing, structured course to participants. You will also help develop and coordinate training, in addition to this. Willing and able to complete general office duties, 1-2 days per week.

Would you like to assist others, particularly house bound or isolated people? We have older clients in Busselton, Quindalup and Cowaramup, that would love a visit in their homes to support them to learn more about their device and be shown how to get the most out of their devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.

As a volunteer Project Coordinator, you will actively assist the Project Manager and respective project professionals to support the delivery of the program and individual project objectives. You will play a pivotal role in organizing meetings, proposing improvement opportunities to current ways of doing things and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and reporting the progress of projects to all stakeholders.

Do you love visiting and talking with people? It is a small group of volunteers who visit patients on the wards who may not otherwise have any visitors. They can be formal or informal visits and planned or unplanned. Aim is to offer psychological, social and/or compassionate support. We are also recruiting for Inpatient Connectors in other areas of the South West: Manjimup, Pemberton, Bridgetown, Nannup, Boyup Brook, Donnybrook, Collie, Harvey, Margaret River, Augusta, Busselton.
