About this opportunity

Role of the Inpatient Connector Volunteer on the Wards • Identify with the nursing station/shift coordinator patients needing support. • Meet and greet patients and visitors in a warm, friendly manner. • Provide support to patients by listening to any stories, anxieties, issues or worries that the patient may have. • Provide feedback to nursing staff, with patient’s permission, to resolve any issues, worries or anxieties that cannot be resolved by conversation with the inpatient connector.

National Police Certificate and Working With Children Check will be provided by the agency.
