for Ageing with Grace - Seniors & Aged Care
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is a government funded program to combat social isolation and helps to develop social connections for older persons. Ageing with Grace believe that social connections are essential to the well-being of older people. We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, friendly Volunteer Visitors to spend time with older people who are at risk of social isolation and loneliness.
We have a wonderful older lady who is unable to get out and about needing a visitor in Mansfield. Pick up some gardening tips and make an older ladies day at the same time! Volunteer Visitors are needed to change the lives of people living in Residential Aged Care. Spend time with one or a small group of residents to build friendships and help out in a range of different activities to suit your interests.
