Legacy Brisbane is reaching out for wonderful volunteers to help at our annual Canungra Combat Challenge (C3). The Challenge will be held at the Kokoda Barracks in Canungra on Saturday, 15 June 2024. The funds raised go towards supporting the families, widows/widowers and children of those who have served our country and have been injured or killed as a result of their service.

We invite you to help at our fund raiser to support displaced Burmese families stranded on the Thai, Burma border. You will need to be at the venue at 3.15 pm and assist with setting up tables and chairs, placing table clothes, and decorations etc. You can choose to eat any of the items on the menu for free and have drinks as required. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the entertainment too.

As a Board member, you will serve as a key leader and advisor for Yogahood Australia, a not-for-profit organisation focused on bringing yoga and mindfulness practices to communities and neighbourhoods in need. The Sea Turtle Foundation Limited, a company limited by guarantee, is a well-established not-for-profit organisation (founded in 2001) committed to ensuring global sea turtle populations increase. The current Chair, since 2020, has taken the organisation through a period of transformation and growth. The established Board is looking to appoint an experienced Chair to lead the organisation and Board of Directors when the current Chair steps down around June 2024.

That is where A Sound Life comes in - we do all the legwork to make it easy for you to simply turn up and perform your music either live over Zoom or directly to patients by their bedside in hospitals. Our next Musician Training Day is happening on Sunday, July 28 from 10am-3pm at Together2, Rozelle in Sydney and via Zoom.
