You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. BDEC engages with government, community agencies, and the public in order to encourage the preservation of the natural environment in the local area. They undertake a number of practical and administrative initiatives.

This position is 80% Bookkeeping and reporting to the BDEC committee at bi-monthly meetings and the AGM. Volunteer needs to attend meetings in person.

A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health. They participate in committees, focus groups, projects and a range of other activities to ensure the patient perspective is always considered. Could you help make someone's day a bit brighter? The Kurri Kurri District Hospital Volunteers provide comfort to patients, their families and visitors when they need it most. As well they support staff and fundraise to help build a better patient experience. They have a cafe that is managed on site but we need more helpers to get it open.

Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to wildlife conservation. Native wildlife needs your help. Rescue sick and injured birds, possums, lizards, turtles and frogs, and transport them to a vet for urgent assessment and treatment.

Join a busy wildlife hospital dedicated to caring for all native species who are sick, injured, orphaned or displaced.

ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.
