Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE) is seeking one or two enthusiastic volunteers to organise, administrate and oversee our Bocce Program. The Bocce Coordinator(s) will work under the direction of the Club Sports Coordinator and State Bocce Manager. Special Olympics is a not-for-profit organisation with the primary goal of helping those with an intellectual disability to participate in sport to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing, sense of purpose and community connections.

Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. You don't need to attend the whole day or every day if you can't commit for the entire weekend and there will be vouchers for all volunteers to get something from the cafe and lunch provided. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us sell 50-50 Charity Raffle tickets at upcoming Cowboys home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
