Willunga Recreation Park (WRP) was established in 1875 and is an entirely community owned and community run organisation based in Willunga.
WRP hosts four festivals throughout the year including the iconic Willunga Almond Blossom Festival, Fleurieu Beer Festival, Chilli Festival and the Jigsaw Competition.
WRP is the umbrella organisation for over twenty sporting clubs and community groups including netball, football, CWA, tennis, Girl Guides, Cinemallunga, the CFS and many more.
We invite you to join us to share your skills, learn new skills or just come and be part of our friendly team. WRP is fully inclusive and welcomes new volunteers of all abilities
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES:
- Festivals: Set up & break down for events
- Festivals: Ticket selling at the gates for events
- Festivals: Bar/kitchen hands for events
- Festivals: Photography & videography for events for loading to the website & social media
- Festivals: Planning Committees
- Raffle ticket selling for fund raising
- Letterbox drops of events & other information
- Quarry Market support on the day
- Website & marketing assistance
- Sourcing sponsorship
- Writing grant applications
- Reviewing policies & procedures
- General maintenance
- Participating in general working bees
