The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Take the lead in organising the premier event of the year for the Cambodian Kids Can Charity and other fundraising events. Make a difference to at risk young girls who benefit from our fundraising by having safe place to live, paid for education and tutoring and the opportunity to give back their communities and attend university. Your primary objective is to work with the Board to put on this well loved event in order to raise funds for work.

Assisting MSWA staff members with setting up the awards table, cheering on swimmers, taking banners down, packing down tables, stacking chairs, and loading event items into the event vehicle

2 volunteers required for on-day roles: assisting with setting up poolside, Registration check-in desk, Selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and cheering on the swimmers. •Neat casual attire, enclosed non-slip footwear – you will be working in and around the Aquatic Centre pool. •Food and drink refreshments will be provided. •A briefing will take place on the day. •Knowledge of EFTPOS machine •Suitable for skilled volunteers, work experience, young adults. Start times of 7 am – 11 pm
