Walk to Defeat MND is an inclusive, family-friendly event for the community to come together in support of a loved one living with MND or to pay tribute to someone lost to this devastating disease. Participants raise funds and awareness for MND to walk or roll 2km to 4km in parks or near beaches.

Volunteering North Queensland is seeking interest from those wanting to volunteer for events in Townsville during 2023 and beyond. Mernda Repair Café will be the first community Repair Program for the community of Whittlesea hosted at the Mernda Community House and outdoor community space. The position purpose is to document the Repair Cafe events. To capture the fun on day, the wins for the day and celebrate our volunteer Repairers, Event volunteers and the Whittlesea community as a whole. We need great video footage to help document our program’s journey, clips used for publicity on social media and reports.
