Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.

The District Council of Yankalilla, provide reliable, efficient transport for the frail older people in our community who are without the support of family or friends able to transport them to medical appointments. Volunteer drivers are required during normal business hours although occasional early morning and weekend bookings do occur.

Driving out of town like Mitta Mitta/Bright distance from Albury Wodonga (~85-100km) This would be on a Wednesday every week, the volunteer staff do not pay for their morning tea or lunch, this for Men’s group & Jumbunna group bus outings.
