She would benefit from someone who can visit her and play a musical instrument or share Chinese/Malaysian food.

Visit a socially/culturally isolated lady in her own home in Mount Waverley. The recipient speaks Arabic and English and was a mechanical engineer who lectured at University prior to retiring Can you spare some time once per week/fortnight for 1 hour visit to help her smile? Enjoy a cup of tea together, talk about family or go for short walk.

Thai speaking volunteer visitor needed to visit socially and culturally isolated lady living in an aged care facility. She is unable to converse with anyone as there are no Thai speakers at this facility. Loves to singalong to Thai music and watch Thai movies. Gentle strolls outside in the garden. Do you have experience with the elderly? Are you empathetic, caring and can spare an hour once per fortnight?

We are looking for a gardener to maintain our beautiful gardens, that our elderly clients enjoy. The gardener will keep the area free of weeds and keep the fountains clean and Cut back any overgrown vegetation. Our gardener will enjoy a free hot lunch and morning tea provided by our chef.

We have many Greek residents who are very isolated. You can make a difference to someone's life and your own. Some Greek residents are in English speaking facilities and would love to speak with someone in their own language.

We have two lovely ladies in need of companionship at an aged care facility in Burwood and in her own home in Croydon. Do you have experience with Dementia? Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly? The resident at the aged care home would love to have a companion to talk to, hand massages and listen to music. She is bedbound and lonely. The other lady lives in her own home and is very lonely. She is 92 and would love to chat over a cuppa.

We are currently looking for Greek speaking volunteers for aged care facilities in Clayton and Oakleigh. These residents are socially and culturally isolated and would benefit greatly from regular contact by a visitor/friend. Regular contacts or visits have a positive impact in reducing social isolation and improving the well-being of the resident.
