We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. Friends of Point Peron is a small group of caring local volunteers who are helping Parks and Wildlife staff look after Cape Peron following the dumping of the Mangles Bay Marina on planning, not environmental, grounds. We grow seedlings from local native seed, plant them and tend them and deal with weeds. We'd love to have your help as often as you are free.
