Community Nursery Assistants support the propagation of local provenance native plants for re-vegetation of the local environment within the City of Greater Geraldton. Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation. If you have a broad interest in the Environment, then this is for you! The Busselton Dunsborough Environment Centre Inc. (BDEC) is looking for keen and interested people for its management committee. Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. BDEC engages with government, community agencies, and the public in order to encourage the preservation of the natural environment in the local area. They undertake a number of practical and administrative initiatives.
