A lovely older lady living in an Aged Care Home in Craigieburn would enjoy having conversations in Syriac with a new female friend. Our program helps to improve the lives of older people who face social isolation through meaningful friendships. It's very rewarding, flexible, and suited to anyone who is friendly, kind and reliable!

She would benefit from someone who can visit her and play a musical instrument or share Chinese/Malaysian food.

The recipient speaks Arabic and English and was a mechanical engineer who lectured at University prior to retiring Can you spare some time once per week/fortnight for 1 hour visit to help her smile? Enjoy a cup of tea together, talk about family or go for short walk.
