Barnardos Australia is excited to announce our inaugural fundraising art show will be happening on Thursday the 16th of May. The theme of the show is 'Fearlessly Optimistic' which embodies the unrelenting passion of Barnardos. The Townsville Folk Festival is an annual, volunteer run event. It is a family friendly 4 day camping and live music festival.

Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program that is looking for 4 volunteers to help with food distribution (wait staff) at the End of Financial Year Fundraising Event “Raising for Recovery”. This event is to raise funds so Fresh Start can continue their work in supporting thousands of people and families in their addiction recovery journey and create awareness and a platform for advocacy.

An exciting opportunity exists for you to volunteer to assist us in running a Road Safety Program called ‘bstreetsmart’ at Qudos Bank Arena from 20-22 August 2024. Year 10 to 12 school students aged 16 –18 will attend the event with the aim to decrease road trauma in this age group. Volunteers will be required for ushering, crowd management, information relay, and safety officers

Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors and guests and act as a friendly, informative, and helpful face of Nature Foundation on our Reserves.
