Corporate Bushcare days involves a brief training induction followed by weeding mulching and planting and goes for about 4hrs with a break. Please wear suitable clothes and covered shoes. Barnardos Australia is excited to announce our inaugural fundraising art show will be happening on Thursday the 16th of May. The theme of the show is 'Fearlessly Optimistic' which embodies the unrelenting passion of Barnardos. We are calling on volunteers who want to be part of this exciting opportunity to work across a brand-new fundraising event for Barnardos Australia. Your contribution will directly assist us in trying to reach our fundraising target.

The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Fancy yourself a bit of a green thumb, or enjoy planting trees? Come along and help us to plant native species in Reserves and Parks within Rockingham! We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like-minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!

A Walk in the Park for Fight Parkinson's. - Sunday May 5th, 2024 Course marshalls are needed around the course to direct walkers, assist them in any way and call in any incidents. This event supports the Geelong community. People with Parkinson's and their families walk to help raise funds and awareness. This is a fun volunteering experience for all involved.

Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. You don't need to attend the whole day or every day if you can't commit for the entire weekend and there will be vouchers for all volunteers to get something from the cafe and lunch provided. WWCC is required.

The 94th Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show will return on the 29th and 30th of June 2024. We are now seeking volunteers to join our inclusive Show Crew.

Fair Trade & Gift Shop have a very large selection of books, both in the shop and online. We need volunteers who can match the books with an excel spread sheet, so we know what we have. Red Nose Day is our headline fundraising campaign each year, raising funds to support the work of Red Nose in saving little lives and caring for bereaved families, and raising awareness for the cause. Merchandise stall holders collect cash and facilitate EFTPOS donations, and sell small merchandise. Support Red Nose funding vital programs and bereavement care services.

The Townsville Folk Festival is an annual, volunteer run event. It is a family friendly 4 day camping and live music festival.
