The purpose of our Home Visit service is to reduce the social isolation of our clients who may be feeling disconnected from their community. Have you got a few spare hours to visit an elderly person on the Northern beaches ? Do you enjoy engaging with people and making a meaningful difference to the lives of others ? Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. IC Care is looking for people in the Wollondilly and Camden areas who want to give back to our ageing community!

MCCI supports older people from multicultural backgrounds. Our Volunteer Drivers provides door to door transport in our 12-seater Toyota Hiac (automatic). You will drive clients to social groups in different locations around the ACT. Normal car license only required. Full training provided.

Do you love your tech devices, lap tops, IPads, mobile phones? Are you a caring and passionate communicator, a good listener? Would you like to assist others, particularly house bound or isolated people? We have older clients in Busselton, Quindalup and Cowaramup, that would love a visit in their homes to support them to learn more about their device and be shown how to get the most out of their devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.

As you may imagine the lock down was a lonely time, so we have created some new volunteer roles to help reduce social isolation and help the elderly who live independently to reconnect back into the community.
