Want to do hands-on work that actually helps the environment? Our nursery grows indigenous plants for revegetation projects and local gardeners. This increases habitat for our wildlife and helps biodiversity. We'd love you to join us to help with maintenance tasks around the nursery and maintaining our facilities. Work at a time or frequency that suits you! We're a very friendly group and morning tea/coffee is provided!

Want to help restore our native bushland? Bassendean Preservaton Group (BPG) is a local community bushcare group. We are looking for volunteers to help out at our native plant nursery in Ascot on Wednesday mornings, on a regular basis. Also to help out with bushland plantings on occasional weekend mornings throughout the year, mostly in winter. We plant around the Bassendean area, mostly around the foreshore and wetland areas. Join the 'Friends of Parks' volunteers at Kondalilla Falls National Park and help the local Rangers with a variety of activities that will benefit a much-loved rainforest ecosystem on the Blackall Range. Tasks may include: manual weed removal, maintenance and repairs of the walking track and other infrastructure, revegetation/tree planting, rubbish collection, recording of wildlife sightings, and more.
