for Inclusion Melbourne - Disability Services
We have a male client in Ormond who loves to chat about ideas, books, music and national and international affairs. Our Client is well read and loves listening to music, and he would love to spend an hour a fortnight with a volunteer with whom he can chat over a coffee or a gentle walk. If you are able to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits (weekends are fine), and can easily visit Ormond, please express interest below!!
Currently we have a male client in Caulfield North who has many interests including gardening, walking around gardens, playing chess, pottery work, and chatting about his life. Our client would enjoy the company of a caring, reliable and empathetic volunteer with good communication skills and an ability to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits.

The role of the volunteer is to help older people and people living with disabilities stay connected in the community.
To ensure the safe and comfortable transport of clients situated in the local government area to various destinations such as: doctors’ appointments, hospital/medical appointments, aged day care, social outings, shopping etc. using a community transport vehicle. Drivers will be required to make trips to other parts of the region outside of the local area including Wagga, Albury, Shepparton, Bendigo and Melbourne.

As a Community Connections Volunteer, you play a key role in helping clients reconnect with their local community and encouraging them to do the things they love. Our Community Connections program supports our clients who are at risk of feeling lonely or isolated, by providing them with social visits.

MiCare Aged Care and the Retirement village in Carrum Downs is looking for a friendly individual to contribute as a volunteer at our shop. Our small shop is designed for our Aged Care residents, families, visitors and friends providing a cosy environment for them to buy the things in need close to their homes, or when they come to visit their love ones. We sell some Dutch foods and products as well.
